Description   This stunning breastplate is made by French saddlery company CWD, who are based in Normandy. The breastplate is a variation on the popular CC11C CWD Adjustable Bridge Breastplate and has the addition of elastic in the design. This means that the breastplate can either be attached underneath the saddle flaps to the girth straps, as the CC11C breastplate attaches, or it can attach to the girth strap of a saddle with long girth straps such as the Butet XC Saddle. This method of attaching the breastplate to the girth strap of the saddle really anchors the saddle and prevents it from slipping back in a more effective way than when a breastplate is attached to the D rings of the saddle. Made of beautiful soft leather, with a bridge going over the top of the horse's neck, it is sold complete with a fully adjustable running martingale attachment. This breastplate really does allow the horse to use the shoulder and yet the saddle still remains in place due to the unique and yet simple design.
